メッセージ |
In my role as coordinator of the English Language Program at MMU, my primary goal is to develop our students' abilities to confidently participate in today's global society. English has become the primary means of communicating in every corner of the world. If our students are going to participate in that global community, they will need not only to be highly competent in the four language skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing, but also competent in academic literacy skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, and intercultural communication. In addition, as an educator, I am acutely aware that each student is an individual, with individual language skills and learning styles. Through a close nurturing of each student's progress, I hope to provide individual support that best develops individual skills. |
